Faupel & Daffern are a London and Suffolk based Interior Design studio that specialises in luxury residential and development interiors. Our approach involves an unbending desire to create spaces that truly reflect our Client's vision for their space. Fusing traditional and contemporary designs to create bright, comfortable and timeless interiors. Drawing on Lucinda and Frances' previous backgrounds to bring a truly unique handwriting space.
Lucinda, Frances, and their team take a holistic approach to each project and work on all aspects of their Client's projects: Design, architecture, lighting design, art consultancy, landscape, build and implementation. They are also experienced in helping source both properties and projects. They have amassed a little black book of all the best artisan craftsmen and state of the art suppliers to make sure that bespoke quality is at the heart of all their designs.
Lucinda Faupel
Lucinda studied Fashion before embarking on her career in Interiors. She has over 10 years’ experience working in the luxury residential market, working on projects all over the world from Barbados to Buckinghamshire.
Lucinda’s fashion background has given her a deep understanding of fabrics, and how to use pattern and colour to create interiors with an eclectic richness sensitive to the Client’s ambition for their home. Lucinda believes that the most important question to ask at the beginning of a project is not ‘how do you want the space to look’ but ‘how do you want to use this space’.
Practical requirements not only inform the physical space but also the style and finish.
Frances Daffern
Frances read "Fine Art and Contemporary Critical Theory" at Goldsmiths University before being signed by the Robert Miller Gallery, New York. Her artwork has been shown around the world and her pieces have been bought by prestigious international collectors.
Frances has many years of experience in installing artwork into private homes and institutions globally. Latterly Frances has been developing her own property portfolio as well as overseeing large scale luxury renovation and interior design projects on behalf of clients.
Frances' blend of creative vision and practical skillset has meant she is a natural problem solver adept at navigating complex projects.
